My stories convey empowering messages to help children believe in their worth and their potential as co-creators of a more loving world. In my stories, each child is valued for their uniqueness, encouraged to seek possibility and connection with others, and honored for the magical contributions that each will bring to our awaiting world.
I began writing stories for children as a holistic pediatric nurse. Knowing that words and images have the power to affect healing changes, my therapeutic story-telling, or Guided Imagery, has empowered children to cope masterfully with their health challenges. As an author, my stories of magic and delight, are woven with similarly empowering messages that support children to reach their full potential as happy, healthy and resilient adults.

The story unfolds as a young boy, playing his trombone alone in his room, wonders if other musical voices exist. When an alluring treble note wafts through his window, he begins a determined quest to find the answer to his question. Playing his horn through his neighborhood, the boy draws curious children to join the procession, each playing their own instrument and celebrating their shared connection. The adventure is touched with magic when their combined voices orchestrate a colorful miracle that teaches of the beauty and love created when we celebrate our differences and share what makes us special.
